Your care remains entirely private — information about your sessions is yours to share, or not share, with your employer or insurer. You retain full control over your treatment with no session limits and no insurance-mandated requirements. A superbill is provided for potential out-of-network reimbursement.
Aetna Insurance
In-NetworkMindful Mountain Counseling is in-network with Aetna. Contact your plan to verify behavioral health benefits, deductible status, and copay amounts before your first session.
Do I have outpatient mental health benefits? What is my deductible and has it been met? What is my copay for an in-network LPC? Do I need a referral or prior authorization?
Your Aetna benefits are available and honored. However, many clients — particularly professionals and those in licensed or regulated careers — choose private pay:
Laura is glad to discuss which option makes the most sense for your situation.
If you pay privately and hold a PPO plan, you may be eligible for partial reimbursement. Laura provides a detailed superbill — with diagnosis and procedure codes — that you submit directly to your insurer. Many PPO clients recoup a significant portion of session costs. Contact your insurer to verify out-of-network mental health benefits before your first appointment.
Physicians, psychiatrists, and other providers refer adult patients to Mindful Mountain Counseling because Laura provides clinically rigorous, collaborative care and communicates clearly with referring providers when authorized by the client.
With client consent, Laura coordinates with referring physicians and psychiatrists — sharing progress updates and clinical coordination as appropriate.
